If you believe that boats must be divided into fishing specialists and luxury cruising crafts, the Everglades 243cc breaks this barrier entirely. The 243cc is the perfect example of a boat that is built to cater to families and fishermen who are looking to enjoy coastal and inshore fishing, running 30 miles offshore, and comfortably cruising around our beautiful waters. Higher gunwales than most bay-boats make this boat family-friendly and safe, without compromising fishability. This versatile center console and industry leader in the bay boat market perfectly suits the needs of those who like to enjoy relaxing at the sandbar on Sunday after getting after the fish on Saturday.

The 243cc sports two spacious and versatile foldaway seats in the stern on either side of the livewell, giving your crew a comfortable place to sit while underway. When not in use, fold the backrests down to reveal a large aft casting deck. The bow area features a 67-gallon in-floor fish box and cushioned seating with deep dry storage compartments below. Another comfortable seat with backrest fronts the console, adding to the functionality of this vessel. Low profile aluminum powder-coated bow rails and 6” pull-up stainless steel cleats on the port and starboard sides in the bow along with bow seating that converts to a large casting platform after removing cushions makes cast-netting bait and fishing off the bow simple and problem-free. 8 standard rod holders and 4 standard under gunwale rod racks keep all of your gear secure. The cockpit of the 243cc offers a class leading 85 square feet of real estate and abundant space for your on-water adventures. The roomy head, accessed from the port side of the console, features a standard porta potty, storage area, and awesome access to all of your electronics at the helm from the backside of the console.

Moving to the helm, the contemporary dash will accommodate a 12” GPS display, with room to spare for a useful console glovebox/storage bin for your smaller personal items. All stainless-steel push buttons control your equipment, which are backlit to ensure you will know when activated. The stainless-steel tilt steering wheel can be set to a comfortable position for the captain. In addition to these awesome features, like all Everglades Boats, the 243cc is equipped with a patented sliding windshield to control wind flow behind the helm station. Slide it down on a hot day to cool off and block off any wind on the cooler winter days!

For the serious angler, the 243cc can be equipped with a few key options to make this coastal boat an even more serious fishing machine! The optional fishing package includes an Atlas jack plate, 8’ power pole shallow water anchor, and a Minn Kota trolling motor with iPilot and convenient charging receptacle in the bow. The 243cc also allows for an upper station with 3 position sliding sun roof/helm seat, 4 cup holders, footrest, trim tab indicators, and space for electronics for those interested in sight fishing and gaining an advantage from the higher viewpoint.

The Everglades 243cc allows for a Yamaha 300 HP four stroke outboard motor delivering superior durability, reliability, longevity, and great performance. She’ll reach 50mph with the 300 HP engine, and deliver a range of approx. 265 miles cruising just below 30mph while getting you 3.39mpg.

Everglades boats set a completely new benchmark for strength, power, durability, and versatility, both inshore and offshore from 23’ up to the flagship 43’. The brand is the culmination of decades of experience and a passion for building the best family-friendly fishing boats on the water today. Every Everglades boat is unsinkable, thanks to high-density 6 lb. foam that is chemically and permanently bonded between the hull and deck. Everglades are built in a 125,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility in Edgewater, Florida, where most parts like fiberglass components, T-top structures and rails, and wiring harnesses are crafted in-house. Each part is created for the boat in which it’ll be installed, ensuring all parts meet Everglades’ sky-high quality and construction standards in producing yachtlike fit and finish.
