This upscale island resort is located on beautiful Captiva Island, just south of Boca Grande and north of Ft. Myers. This is the premiere resort on the west coast of Florida. It is easily accessed directly from the Gulf of Mexico or via a well-marked (but narrow) channel from the Intracoastal Waterway.
This resort offers a first class marina with gas and diesel available. The marina offers large, clean showers and a conveniently located and well-stocked ship store. The resort is a private gated community which offers numerous restaurants within the facility that range from upscale dining to a casual poolside restaurant. There is even a 1950’s themed ice cream parlor and a large game room to keep the kids entertained. Waverunners and kayaks are available for rental and parasailing is popular. The resort offers more than a dozen swimming pools and the pristine beach is only a short walk from the marina. A free trolley will transport you around the resort and take you to the various shops that are located near the resort entrance.
There are a large number of rental villas on the property, so if you would like to have family or friends meet you there, they can easily find a nice villa to stay in with tennis courts and a golf course available. You will find guests here from all over the world and boaters from many distant ports that chose to spend time here.
This is a must see destination.
