Zack was born and raised on Anna Maria Island/Bradenton, FL. Growing up on 'the island', he was introduced to the boating and water lifestyle at a very young age, even buying his first jon boat at age 12. Fishing, diving and spearfishing were the activities that caught his young eye first and from then on was all he was doing as a kid. During middle and high school he had a wide range of jobs, but it was his mother's charter boat service 'Friends with a Boat' that really created the idea of how great it would be to earn a living off of something marine related.
After high school, Zack went on to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville. Upon graduation he joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car and began their Sales Management Program in Chicago. He quickly worked his way up into management and to eventually running one of the larger locations in Chicagoland. After a few years though, Zack began looking for other opportunities and wanted to find a role that he was genuinely passionate about. One-night he was having a small reunion with college friends when one of his friends started telling him about his job as a broker down in Fort Lauderdale. It was at that moment a lightbulb went off and he knew that a sales role in the marine industry sounded like a true dream job. After a few months of searching, he connected with Tom George Yacht Group and was fortunately offered a position. Zack hopped back on the plane to Chicago and immediately began packing for the move home to the Tampa Bay Area.
Zack is excited for the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the marine industry. He plans to use his customer centric approach to ensure that his clients get the perfect boat and have an enjoyable and memorable experience in the process.
